Come and relax at the Bird House - Rotorua Accommodation on the hill over looking the beautiful Lake Rotorua. We named our home the Bird House after the resident Tui's that fill the air with their beautiful song as they feed on the nectar of the Flax and Kowhai flowers. The Bird House was once our home and we now offer the entire home to you and your family and friends to enjoy just as we have.

The Bird House is perfect for group accommodation and is one of the few houses in Rotorua to offer six bedrooms which means everyone has their own space for a comfortable stay, no sleeping on the floor or bunks here. The Bird House is tastefully decorated with a nice bright open flow. You will enjoy breakfast at the table as the sun creeps in or a glass of wine in the afternoon on the deck after a fun day exploring Rotorua.

The Bird House is a two story architecturally designed home with lovely views over the beautiful Lake Rotorua. Built on two levels the Bird House offers:

Conditions of Renting the Bird House
We welcome groups to the Bird House however we do not welcome parties. No more than 12 people at the house at any given time.
The Bird House is close to its neighbours and we respect their right to privacy, peace and quiet and we trust that our guests do also.

No smoking inside and well away from windows and doors.
​
In order to provide an allergy free stay to all our guests we regrettably cannot accommodate pets.
